A LaserAway professional will be contacting you shortly. If you are in a hurry please call one of our facilities.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, non-surgical, treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people from 18 to 65. BOTOX® Cosmetic works by reducing the contractions of the muscles that cause those persistent frown lines that have developed over time. BOTOX® is FDA approved, but rare cases of serious complications have been reported. It is important that you are informed of the procedure and the risks involved prior to making your appointment. Please read our Before you BOTOX® page for a list of mild and serious side effects that may occur during and after your procedure.

What is BOTOX® Cosmetic?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, which reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those frown lines between the brows to form over time.
How long does it take?
One 10-minute treatment—a few tiny injections—and within days there’s a noticeable improvement in moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, which can last up to 4 months.
How many people do BOTOX®?
In 2008, almost 10 million procedures were performed with FDA-approved BOTOX® Cosmetic.
Are there any other types or kinds of BOTOX®?
There’s only one BOTOX® Cosmetic. Be sure to ask the Medical Professional to show you the Botox hologram on each bottle in order to ensure you are getting the real thing.
Does it hurt?
Almost all patients report that there is minimal discomfort. Almost no patients report that the pain is severe. Most patients report that the specially designed syringes make it relatively painless.
How do I know the BOTOX® I am being treated with is not diluted?
BOTOX® must always be diluted in order to achieve its inject-able form. Botox should be reconstituted only with nonpreserved normal saline. Other diluents, including lidocaine, should not be used for reconstitution. LaserAway always uses the Allergan recommended dilution methods for maximum strength an d effectiveness.
